But honestly, I don't know when we Nigerians or the elites will be pro active when it comes to our personal security and plans for the future cm safety!

In 1978, were traveling to the village, my sisters and my parents would be in the air-conditioned vehicle while I traveled in the Peugeot 404 pickup with the driver. So at one point when we stopped to eat I took my father aside to ask him why I'm always couped up in the pick up? He told me something that I never imagined or understood! He said the Head and the heir apparent can't sit in one vehicle or conveyance. Assuming anything happens, that's how the family tree perishes! Hmmmmm!

So which gives credence to my mother's statement to me in my heady days, that I should be mindful of my life. That if anything happens to me, she can't remarry but my father may remarry to have a son. Hmmmmm! Me being their only son.

So if my father could think in this mindset as far back as 1978 why can't a well accomplished man think or be more calculative in not putting his heir in the same craft with him more than 40yrs later. Just something that I'm asking myself about the Wigwe Access CEO crash.

The truth is that many will still make the same mistake. I know of an in-law cm school roommate whose entire family perished in the Sosoliso air crash.

Let's think before we put our entire family in any conveyance, whether our own or others.
