Do not walk past those shiny, dated vases at the thrift store! I took this basic $8 find and turned it into a high-end Pottery Barn Emilia Collection dupe using a little paint magic. ✨
Here is how to get the look: 1️⃣ Mix Dixie Belle Chalk Mineral Paint in ‘Ecru’ and ‘Mud Puddle’ with Sea Spray texture additive to create a thick, faux-clay paste. 2️⃣ Stipple it on with a brush for that gritty, artisan texture. 3️⃣ Hot glue wooden half-beads around the collar and belly for architectural detail. 4️⃣ Lightly sponge on straight ‘Mud Puddle’ paint for a naturally mottled look. 5️⃣ Finish by rubbing in White Wax and Grunge Gray Wax to give it that authentic, ancient pottery vibe!
