The Young Brothers Academy’s 6th annual Honoring the Promise Gala celebrated YBA’s mission to educate, empower and expose our youth to the greatness around them and the greatness they hold within. It featured a scholar presentation and Clemson Speaker Rushawnda Olden, director of Clemson University’s 4-H Pinckney Leadership Program, was the keynote speaker.

The Event celebrated YBA’s mission to educate, empower and expose our youth to the greatness around them and the greatness they hold within.

Attendees experienced the colors of life in a curated art gallery, live artist performances, a plurality of participatory art experiences, and more! Additionally, the silent and live auctions were a huge success and benefited the Premier Arts Collective’s mission.

The event benefited was an exploration of color and its effects on daily life, including a curated art gallery, live artist performances and more.

We are currently accepting submissions for the 2025 Wedding Issue of TALK Greenville.

Submission Instructions:

✨Wedding must have taken place in Greenville or surrounding area, OR the couple must have strong ties to the Greenville community.

✨The wedding must have been within the last 2 years and can be from any season. We will be choosing based on diversity, overall aesthetic and wedding vendors.

✨To submit your wedding, please email 5-10 good, web-quality Jpeg images as attachments (do not embed photos in emal or send slide shows, do not send hi-res photos until they are requested) to [email protected].
Include: couple’s names, wedding date, venue(s), photographer and planner. Your photographer will be required to sign a photo release.

✨Deadline for Submissions: December 15, 2024
If selected you will be contacted for additional information.

We’re currently accepting submissions from couples who would like to have their wedding included in the 2025 Wedding Issue of TALK Greenville!

The Greenville Symphony’s concert at the Peace Center opened its 2024-2025 season with a beautiful concert. The show was also available as a free outdoor live broadcast at the Peace Pavilion. Music Director Lee Mills led the orchestra’s program that featured Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 and included guest choirs from Furman University, Bob Jones University and North Greenville University.
