The 2 HF stations. Ant are dx-commander on the beach and the other a 40m doublet up 8m between coconut trees. 6m a 4 ele beam.

All up and running. Cx mixed so far and mostly cw operation. Internet access very patchy.

Setting up station 2 and 6m this morning.

YK0VK went qrt 11 April at 2026z. The last qso on 17m cw.
The team are now home. The last 3 days were extremely uncomfortable with high temperatures and extremely high humidity.
And to top it off we ran out of data on our Sim card. But hey, we were there to make radio contacts, not play Facebook or do daily log updates.
The final logs have been sent to Charles, so please, before you have kittens that you're not in the log wait for a final update.

Ah... the daily dose of quality feedback on the cluster. Always provides a good belly laugh for the team. (We actually drove into town for supplies and to upgrade our rental car)

Its not all radio and antennas.

Before dinner we joined a local family enjoying an Easter gathering. Only 300 immediate family members attending from the various islands. Pavilion tent, live band, food and kava! Really friendly welcoming people. We met the elders and enjoyed a bowl of kava with them.

After dinner we thought we'd give 6m a go. 384 on ft8 and 113 on CW. All JA with 3 HL and 1 BA.

Now back to HF. 2 stations on ft8 and 1 on CW.
