Funny Story Time! (TLDR @ BOTTOM)

So, something pretty wild happened recently. There’s this Raki Yata event happening in my city, and I decided to join the contest for the laughs—like, I wasn’t expecting anything to come of it.

I showed up to the venue in full cosplay, riding my motorcycle. You know, a casual day. But right as I pulled into the parking lot, disaster struck. My throttle got stuck! So, naturally, I slammed the brakes to avoid crashing into the parked cars. In the process, I wiped out. IN MY COSTUME. And it’s a white costume! 😭 My right knee got covered in dirt, but thank goodness, I didn’t end up with any serious injuries. Just a few aches here and there, no big deal.

Now, my main problem: the contest is only a few hours away, and I don’t have time to clean the costume. So, what did I do? Well, I figured I’d lean into it. BATTLE DAMAGE COSPLAY, right? 😂 Thankfully, my awesome friend and makeup artist, Tals (bless you 🙏), was there to help me out with some “battle damage” makeup. So, here I am—dirty, but still ready to compete.

I didn’t really know what I was doing on stage. I was just winging it, having fun. Then came the awarding. They called the top 5, and to my absolute shock, I was called up first! Top 5??? I couldn’t believe it. I was literally just there for the fun of it. And guess what? I actually ended up taking 5th place! HOW?! 😂 I guess crashing in costume really does work wonders.

But wait, there’s more. After the event, some media people came up to interview me. Nothing unusual, right? I thought it was just a normal post-event interview. What I DIDN’T know was that it was being broadcast live! The next thing I knew, my aunt is messaging me like, “I just saw you on TV!” LMFAO. I was in total shock. What even is this day?!
