Burch Family Film
We bottled up a day in the life of the Burch Family. Backyard play, reading together, nail salon, legos and charades. These are the days. And best way to remember them is through video.
Camp Attitude knows how to put on a good show! Kids had a blast playing carnival games, jumping in the bounce house, eating snow cones and winning prizes with their buddies.

Camp Attitude is a place where kids with disabilities and their families can come and be showered with love and have a lot of fun. Annie, our middle daughter and I are here @campattitude for the week. I’m on the cleaning crew and she is serving as a buddy. I brought my camera along too to capture some of the action.
I feel so blessed to get to hang with the parents and to hear their stories of strength and resilience and grace.

The camas field was just starting to bloom when I met my mom, sister and sweet niece at Bush Pasture Park in Salem.
This is just a little snapshot of our time together.
On spring break we took a day trip to Depoe Bay to go on our first whale watching tour! Sadly we didn’t see any whales while we were out but we did have a wild ride with the wind whipping up the waves.
I wanted to create a film of our trip that felt like a Super 8 home movie. I broke some of the standard rules for filmmaking in order to get the look and vibe. We broke the 4th wall, zoomed in camera and talked behind the camera.
I filmed this entirely on my iPhone with the Filmic Pro App. And I used Fake 8 Film Labs Davinci Resolve Powergrade to create the look in post.
