FILM: Have you seen Leo’s latest? Killers of the Flower Moon” is an epic western crime saga, where real love crosses paths with unspeakable betrayal. Based on a true story and told through the improbable romance of Ernest Burkhart (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Mollie Kyle (Lily Gladstone), “Killers of the Flower Moon” tracks the suspicious murders of members of the Osage Nation, who became some of the richest people in the world overnight after oil was discovered underneath their land.

“Killers of the Flower Moon” also stars Robert De Niro and Jesse Plemons, and is directed by Academy Award winner Martin Scorsese from a screenplay by Eric Roth and Martin Scorsese, based on David Grann’s bestselling book.

Oscar®-winning multi-hyphenate David Byrne, Oscar-nominated actor Stephanie Hsu and music trio Son Lux will perform the Oscar-nominated song “This Is A Life” from “Everything Everywhere All at Once” at the 95th Oscars®, executive producers and showrunners Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner and executive producer Molly McNearney announced today. Hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, the 95th Oscars will air live on ABC and broadcast outlets worldwide on Sunday, March 12, 2023.

“This Is A Life,” with music by Ryan Lott, David Byrne and Mitski and lyric by Ryan Lott and David Byrne, is nominated for Original Song.

Byrne was the founding member, lead singer and guitarist for the critically acclaimed band Talking Heads. He won an Oscar for the original score of the 1987 film “The Last Emperor,” in collaboration with Ryuichi Sakamoto and Cong Su.

Hsu is nominated for Actress in a Supporting Role for her performance in “Everything Everywhere All at Once.” Her other credits include the award-winning series “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” an upcoming appearance in Rian Johnson’s “Poker Face” opposite Natasha Lyonne, an appearance in the upcoming Disney+ series “American Born Chinese” and starring in the forthcoming film “The Fall Guy” opposite Ryan Gosling.

Experimental musical group Son Lux is founder and front man Lott, Ian Chang and Rafiq Bhatia. The band is nominated for Original Score for “Everything Everywhere All at Once.”

NY: THEATER: Great time had by all last night w/ the gang. Ten Bones Theatre Company presented its first installment of 2023 of their Entirely From Memory series! Performers attempted to recreate 1993 hit comedy “Groundhog Day”, w/o the aid of scripts, rehearsals, or sobriety. The evening hosted by actor included (6) longtime performers . The very talented eclectic group of actors tackled the mission w/ the use outlandish props, and frequent racy lines from the audience. The packed house roaring—the night offered all of this an cocktails too!

Proceeds from the show benefitted the charity NI

Next show is February 16th , again at the Littlefield Theater in Brooklyn.

The German beauty was nearly everywhere back in the day scoring numerous magazine covers (back when they actually put models on covers-not actresses& recording artists-as well as a George Michael video & much, much more. The 56 year old who died of metastatic breast cancer in January 11, 2023 will always be remembered for her intense gaze via her other worldly eyes. RIP lovely Tatjana.
