The guys and gals who reliably dish up the low-down on the best shows in town, the coolest venues in the ‘hood, and the experiences you can't miss. On any given night, New Yorkers have thousands of events to choose from. Hundreds of artists performing at the neighborhood coffee shop or Music Hall of Williamsburg or Madison Square Garden. All the while, the concert experience itself has rapidly evo
lved in the last decade. Venues have zagat-rated restaurants, festivals offer yoga classes, and late night shows offer entry via social share. Yet the industry still advertises shows in the same old school way. Current concert notification calendars offer little more than a spreadsheet of dates, and do little to help us narrow down this list. And being on Twitter or Facebook at just the right time to see an artist’s post on an upcoming show? Thus, we’ve set out to build a platform that goes beyond the concert calendar listings, to make discovering, planning and attending concerts easy for everyone — from the casual concert-goer to the super-fan.
