Visit Cardi Gallery London to see an exhibition of works by renowned 20th century artist Gérard Schneider (1896 – 1986), a leading figure in the Lyrical Abstraction movement that emerged in Paris during the 1950s.

The exhibition presents paintings created between 1956 and 1981, tracing the evolution of the Swiss-French artist's formal vocabulary through the post-war years. The works demonstrate the artist’s tireless conviction in the poetics of abstraction, as well as the gradual adoption of a looser, more essential visual language influenced by Japanese calligraphy.

The exhibition is open until 20 July at Cardi Gallery, Mayfair.
Opening times: Monday-Friday 10am - 6pm; Saturday 11am - 6pm, with extended opening hours during London Gallery Weekend on Sunday 2 June, 12-5 pm.

Discover Hélène Amouzou's evocative autoportraits in the Togolese-born photographer's first UK solo exhibition, developed and hosted by gallery: Autograph.

'Voyages' documents fifteen years of Amouzou's distinctive subject matter and highly technical analogue processes, revered by galleries and collectors worldwide. Recent works are shown alongside earlier periods of the artist's work in this thorough retrospective of photography by Hélène Amouzou (b.1969), curated by Bindi Vora.
