a new record label dedicated to the preservation of Rock 'n' Roll, whether it's found in a punk rock, reggae, hip-hop, or 80's inspired dance song that makes you wear your shoes out. We can all remember that chill we got when we first heard the record that changed our life, that song that gave us a shield against a broken heart or made it fly on a day when we already felt on top of the world and that's what Modern Pop is all about. Started by Johnny Madcap in 2011 to turnout Johnny Madcap and The Distractions' first EP "Let's Get Lost" and first full length "Last Man Dancing," Modern Pop is taking a stand against a record industry that just doesn't get it anymore, because we know there are still kids out there who still remember.
