We are so excited to introduce our latest addition, a 4-year old Black German Shepherd, Scout. After a long drive home today she's already weathered her first thunderstorm (she hates storms) and is enjoying frisbee in the backyard A LOT. Welcome to the family, lady. 😍🥰

It's become a bit of a tradition. So much so that the team at say 'see you next week' instead of their usual goodbye when we head out on a Sunday morning. Haha. I've tried the Salmon (pictured here with Kel's brisket with extra bacon, because why not) and the Mushroom omelette from the Spring menu; now to decide what's next. And yes, this is how I occupy my time, planning my next meal.

Just waiting for a mate. 🤷🏼‍♀️ As in, I'm waiting for Kel to find my keys, both sets, so we can drop off his truck to the auto electrician which was meant to be done last night and it'll be there a while so he'll need my car today or maybe all week, tbd. And that's sharing a life with someone who has ADHD, folks. Everyday is an unexpected adventure. Haha.

Four from four 🥹😭 Kel and I were proud to support my brother Dean, his wife Emma and my cousins Darren and Colin in their recent 96km challenge on the Gold Coast. It never gets easier to watch people you love struggle and hurt, nor does it get less emotional to see them succeed.

Who has been around long enough to remember the first time Dean tackled this challenge? That gut wrenching blog post? It still makes me bawl to read it all these years later.

So, for an 18th wedding anniversary the traditional gift is porcelain, apparently. To represent the care and attention required to nurture a long lasting marriage. But I don't need any porcelain to show me how much this guy cares and nurtures, he shows me every single day. Thanks for being who you are, my Kel, for everything you bring to the table and all the chaos that ensues. I love you lots. 🥰😘

Ooooo, kitchen update! Our Ms Wila Interiors cabinetry pulls and tap went in today, as well as our Franke sink and Euromaid range hood. So, that's officially the cabinets done and dusted, bring on ther rest of the trades. 😍🙌🏼
