The LP will be reissued on vinyl later this fall, with a remastered digital version (along with a touched-up “Friendly Pressure” music video) available to stream now.

Out today, exactly 30 years from its original release, is an anniversary edition of 'Galactica Rush', the exceptional debut album from Jhelisa. Remastered from the original analogue tapes by Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios it is now available in Hi Res Audio. It was also remixed in Dolby Atmos by Jimmy Douglass at Magic Mix. Vinyl, cut at half speed, will follow in November.

In 1998 just after Dorado artist Ceri Evans AKA Sunship won a MOBO for best Jazz album and a week later released his first UK Garage hit, 'City Life', I asked him to remix Jhelisa's 1994 Classic 'Friendly Pressure'. The remix was one of the records of that summer, coming out that September and kicking of an incredible run of UK Garage hits for Sunship into the Millenium. Fast forward 26 years and a whole new generation has suddenly discovered this record, thanks to Tik Tok, and they are loving it and sharing it around the world
