Full recipe ::
Cholistani chicken karahi..
Heat cooking oil in a pan... (I prefer desi ghee)
When the oil is slightly hot... Add chicken first & mix.. until the colour changes.
After the colour starts to change add ginger garlic paste and mix it well then add salt as per your taste.
Add blanched tomatoes 3 to 4, remove the skin of tomatoes and cut them in half before adding..mix and cook until tomato reduces to pulp or watery.
Then add fresh grinded red chilly... Black pepper powder, zeera powder, garam masala and Dhaniya powder.
Add masala as per your taste and level of spice you prefer. Don't add too much else it will overpower the taste of chicken.
Time to add dahi 250gms to 300 gms... (Yoghurt)... As by now the chicken will be half cooked...
Add and mix it will ... also add some fresh whole green chilly.. (Don't cut it).
Stir the whole chicken again as by now dahi would have made the gravy watery...
Simmer and cook it .. you can keep the lid if you want...
After 12 to 15 mins... the chicken will be ready...
Garnish with fresh cilantro and mint leaves.
P.S. You can also add roasted and crushed fenugreek leaves if you want ...
