Wow! This is who FORCED Hina Khan to audition for Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai

MUMBAI: Hina Khan made a place for herself in our hearts as Akshara Singhania from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. The actress has come a long way since her debut. From shedding her bahu image to becoming one of the top fashionistas, she is only getting better.

Post YRKKH, Hina impressed us in Bigg Boss 11 and Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 and then by playing the villainous Komolika in the reboot of Kasautii Zindagii Kay. But do you know how she got her first break?

In a throwback conversation, Hina revealed how she landed the role of Akshara Singhania in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. The Hacked actress said, “I auditioned for it. Actually, I was forcefully sent by my friends to audition. The casting guys reached out to a lot of colleges in Delhi and distributed pamphlets. That’s how my friends got to know. They came home and told me about it.”

Talking about the audition process, Hina said, “At the audition, they made me sit for the entire day. It was a whole long paragraph that I had to learn, and I was not prepared. Maybe they found out something, or they just wanted me to stay. They gave me the entire day from 10 AM to learn those lines and deliver them in one shot. Finally, around six in the evening, I delivered those lines. And the next day, I was in Bombay! So that’s the story of my first project.”

Talking about arriving in Mumbai, she added, “There was a lot of debate going on about how I look. The channel figured that my features are too sharp to play such an innocent girl – Akshara. So we did a lot of look tests which we sent to the channel to see how the character is gonna look and all.”

Well, no one could have played the role better.

Ripci had also mentioned that she would delete the post in some time and she did so, and in stern words, as told the fans not to drag her in all this.

Now there could be some disappointing news for the fans of the show. The show had just begun a few months back.

As per a channel on YouTube the show might be going off-air, the reason is still unknown, though the makers might be in talks to shift the show on the OTT platform.

It has been only quite a few months to which the serial as gone air and now seems like the channel and the makers of the show is trying some ways to keep the serial on air.

The makers did try to bring a lot of twists and turns in the serial but unfortunately it didn’t work, as per reports of the YouTube channel.

As per the channel reports the show might be going off-air in the month of July and what would be the final decision would be taken then.

The channel reported that Karan Vir was asked about the show going off air to which he said that he has no clue about the show shutting down or going on the OTT platform as he is only concentrating on his work and the show.

Britney Spears opens up about 'abusive' conservatorship at hearing

Pop singer Britney Spears has spoken out against her conservatorship at a court hearing here, saying that she wanted to "sue" her "family" for the way she has been treated.

Britney told a judge on Wednesday that she wants to end the conservatorship that has governed her life for the last 13 years, calling it "abusive" and denouncing her father for exerting control over her life, reports variety.com.

"I told the whole world I'm OK and I'm happy -- it's a lie," she said.

The popular singer added: "I'm not happy. I can't sleep. I'm so angry it's insane, and I'm depressed."

She told Judge Brenda Penny that she wants her own attorney, wants to scale back her therapy appointments, and that she wants the freedom to get married and have a baby.

Britney also shared that she wanted to "sue" her "family" for the way she has been treated.

She said that her "ignorant father" and others who are involved in the conservatorship "should be in jail".

She said: "I shouldn't be in a conservatorship if I can work and provide money for myself and pay other people. The laws should change."

Britney asked that the hearing be held in public. She also said that the conservatorship prevents her from getting married or having a baby.

Spears also asked that her therapist be allowed to visit her in her own home, rather than her having to go to therapy appointments.

She said: "I don't feel like I can live a full life. I don't even believe in therapy. I think you take it to God."

Samuel Ingham, Britney's court-appointed attorney, told the court that she has not directed him to file a motion seeking to terminate the conservatorship, but that he would do so if asked.

He declined to go into further detail, citing attorney-client privilege.

I am taking the help of my house help and speak to her in UP since she hails from there. Rest, I am learning bits and pieces from the star cast.''

Tina has previously starred in shows like Ek Brahm Sarvagunn Sampanna and Aye Mere Humsafar.

Pratigya 2 also stars Arhaan Behll and Pooja Gor in the lead roles.

ETN is back with yet another interesting update from the world of television.

We all know that Colors is all set to be back with season 2 of the popular social drama series Balika Vadhu.

The first season of the show was a huge hit and had a good run on the small screens for many years.

We had earlier informed you that actors like Sunny Pancholi, Ketki Dave, Seema Mishra, Mehul Buch, Riddhi Nayak, Supriya Shukla, Vansh Sayani, Rashmi Gupta, Shreya Patel, Jyoti Tiwari, Shiju Kataria have been roped in for Balika Vadhu 2.

ETN received the latest information that actress Melani Pais will play the role of a Doctor in Balika Vadhu 2, further details about the character are yet to be disclosed.

The shoot has already begun. The first 15 days are set to be shot in Rajasthan and later in Mumbai.

The show will be bankrolled by Sphere Origins.

The previous season of Balika Vadhu saw Avika Gor and Avinash Mukherjee as Anandi and Jagya respectively while Shashank Vyas and Pratyusha Banerjee played the grown-up Jagya and Anandi. Later, Toral Rasputra stepped into Pratyusha's shoes to play Anandi.

Sidharth Shukla was also an important part of the show.

Earlier, We updated our ardent readers that Child Actor Shreya Patel will play the lead role of Anandi in Colors' Balika Vadhu 2.

Now, ETN has received exclusive information about Baalveer Returns fame Vansh Sayani is speculated to play the role of Jagya in the show.

Vansh was last seen in the supernatural show Baalveer Returns on Sony Sab in the role of Vivaan which was a major hit. The show garnered a lot of fans for him.

The shoot is scheduled to begin today. The first 15 days are set to be shot in Rajasthan and later in Mumbai.

The show will be bankrolled by Sphere Origins.

Kyun Utthe Dil Chhod Aaye: OMG! Veer-Randheer's major showdown ahead!

From this show's plot, we know how Amrit and Randheer were madly in love with each other and were on their way to write an eternal love story together.

However, destiny had written their alternative fate as in Randheer's absence, Veer forcibly took over his place in Amrit's life and even blackmailed her into marrying him.

Ashi Singh on World Yoga Day; says her mother inspired her to take up Yoga

Actress Ashi Singh who’s known for her impeccable acting skills and flawless skin¸ opens up about how Yoga has helped her stay healthy and fit, and the importance it has in her life.

Talking about how and when she started to practice Yoga, she says, “I have been practicing Yoga since a long time now. I got inspired to take up Yoga because of my mother. And when I actually started practicing it, I started to realise how positively it started impacting my internal health. And I’m a firm believer that if you’re fit from inside, you glow differently on the outside. Yoga makes me feel the positive vibes, and I think it’s one of the best forms of workouts that exists”.

She further adds, “Yoga keeps one active, energetic, and in the longer run, there are great health benefits. Yoga isn’t also a very difficult practice. One can pick up the level gradually as they progress. If one hasn’t ever done Yoga, they can always start on a beginner level and progress gradually”

Ashi has won hearts with the roles in shows like Aladdin and Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai, and would like to be part of more shows that can challenge the actor in her.

Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi was one of the most loved shows on television.

The show was relatable to many household audiences, and the show's concept was unique until the end. The show was not high on drama and presented a very realistic approach towards how things are shaped in our Indian society. Starring Erica Fernandes and Shaheer Sheikh in the lead roles, the show also stars Supriya Pilgaonkar as a part of the integral cast. Prerna Panwar plays a very distinguished role as Elena Bose, Sonakshi’s sister.

In conversation with Prerna, she mentioned her bond with Erica.

Prerna said, “Erica is a very grounded person. She is very humble and does not have a starry vibe at all. Most of the time we do not even discuss work. We shoot together and when we do not, we are friends. She is very warm and an approachable person.”

In an earlier interview with ETN , Prerna had mentioned how it is to work with the entire cast. Prerna shared, “We meet the entire team during dinner as the team was shooting and we were resting during the day. We could not stop smiling and hugged each other. It was almost like a FRIENDS reunion! The entire team is very humble and grounded and this is the first show where I am close to every team member.”

Breaking! Benafsha Soonawalla to be a part of Alt Balaji’s Puncch Beat 2?

Alt Balaji’s Puncch Beat created by Vikas Gupta is all set to launch its second season. The first season starred Priyank Sharma, Harsh*ta Gaur, Siddharth Sharma and Khushi Joshi in the lead role. Fans were in complete awe to see Priyank in the show and its success has called for a continuation to the character.

Now, ETN received exclusive information about Bigg Boss 11 contestant Benafsha Soonawalla to have a cameo in the second season of Puncch Beat in the role of young Maya Choudhary.

Maya Choudhary aka Niki Ahuja Walia is the Principal of Rosewood High, the story shall have a flashback in season 2 about her days in Rosewood as a student, Benafsha will be seen as Maya from the school days.

It will be exciting to see the upcoming track of the series with Benafsha adding a touch of her glam to the character. Though her role is a cameo but plays a significant role in Rahat’s life. As it was previously established that Rahat is Maya’s adopted son.
