A friend asked where do my words come from ?, I said my heart my soul my thoughts ….
They aren’t always my thoughts or feelings, sometimes they belong to people I love or care about.
My words are clumsy and not very
Sophisticated but I like to play with them and sometimes the meaning are hidden amongst the seaweed and castles
A very clever designer once said …… your imagination is only as good as the person who is observing it ! And so true because even if my poetry or tumbler full of words resonates with your thoughts it may not always be the message I personally tried to convey !
When I was doing A level English we analysed Shakespeare and Dylan and I struggled with this as I believe we can only regard their words by what others have possibly assumed they meant !
But what it did teach me to do was make sure that my language ran through …. So if I make lots of colour references or if you notice a theme, I chose to carry it through !
Some people May find my words depressing or always a bit emotional, or rough or just pathetic, but that’s the best writing for me, I often think in poetry or it just starts happening and I can tell you it’s fu***ng annoying at times . I’d love to write funny stuff but that’s my default person, always acting the goat…. You can’t touch me… nah nah nah nah … you can’t touch me . She just comes out to play in the strangest of places and she is fairly coarse and foul mouthed !!!
Those who read , I hope you enjoy and some words have you in them.
They are often include other people’s lives. My observations! My truth not necessarily theirs !
