Peterborough-Nogojiwanong is a meeting place and it is known for being a beautifully welcoming community with character. Borderless is dedicated to honouring these roots while empowering marginalized artists and bringing different groups of people together to share space, expand worlds, and celebrate the magic that this city brings to us. We are an electrifying gathering of artists who are predomi

nantly women, people of colour, LGBTQ2+, Black, Indigenous, people from mixed backgrounds, multi-faiths, different ages and all walks of life. Borderless artists do not limit themselves to the expectations of genre, gender, or where they come from; we invite different communities to share space, to feel seen and heard, to feel united in warmth instead of sameness. We are storytellers and culture creators who express diverse perspectives through art and infuse the community with their spirit. The Borderless Music & Arts Festival project continues our mission to bridge cultural borders, infuse the city with the beauty of its own diversity, empower people through art, share experiences, and create shared space even in the middle of a pandemic.
