RIDING IN THE RUMBLE SEAT by E. Anne Pounds to be published soon! Here's Anne's description of this beautifully written memoir about her mother:

"Between the busy 25 years we’ve had in Welcome Neighbor, I have taken snatches of time to write a memoir about my wild and crazy mother. It wasn’t intended to be a book—it was just a growing curiosity about a thick packet of letters I found and painstakingly transcribed. I missed her, and wanted to know what she could possibly be writing about, and to whom. As I discovered the words within, I often howled with laughter. I knew my mother was funny, but I didn’t know about her secret life. I thought at one time I might try submitting it to a literary agent and find a publisher. That proved to be boring and tedious after my first four attempts—not half as much fun as writing! So I have taken the route of many authors who want more control, and I am about to publish the book myself on Amazon and other platforms as both an e-book and in print.
