Many FB Friends have messaged me with well-wishes and curious for an update. I'll drop it here. Thank you all for your input, it's meant a lot to me. I'm in good spirits with small daily improvements.

With my Family Doctor, the diagnosis is Post-Covid Sequela Neuropathy.

Long-story short, COVID slowly fried my nervous system starting a year and a half ago. Thankfully, it seems to have peaked, and it feels now like I am healing and have turned the corner, thank you.

My Indie Canadian Hip Hop music collection is one of my life's loves, and my radio show at the non-profit CHIR FM - soon to be joined also at 107.9 fm locally - remains for me a weekly excercise of life.

I also hope to have another exciting announcement in the local radio world in the next week. Keep you all posted!

I am hopeful. And again, thank you. 🙏❤️

The Old Norse words "Heili Ferli "
have many levels of meanings.

If I recall Heili means "brain."
Also "lucky."
It's root is "HEI-" informs many terms for good health.

"Ferli" literally means "way forward" also pathway, maybe bridge, but surely "method"... it consists of 2 roots: FOR and "Leigh"

We are delighted at announce we have received a very generous donation from Sue Walker and Larry Woods which has given our radio campaign a huge shot in the arm.
Sue and Larry donated $10,000 to our capital fund, which took us to $37,000, or 75 per cent of our total.
They are longtime radio fans and met while working as classical music DJs on the former CFSI radio station. They later married and their wedding ceremony was broadcast live on the radio.
We subsequently received a second donation for $5,000 from a supporter who prefers to stay anonymous, putting us over the 80 per cent mark.
We'd like to thank Sue and Larry and everyone else who has supported us during our campaign to bring Community Radio to the Gulf Islands.
We will be pushing hard to reach our target, continuing with our weekly vinyl and CD sales, broadcasting from the Saturday Market and with a number of fundraisers planned for this summer.
