Oh oh, we need each other! 🎶

It is SO tough to find the balance between self-care and self absorption, let’s be honest.
•
As Christian’s we are called to love, value and invest in one another.
•
And by “one another”, this doesn’t just mean the body of Christ.
•
The Lord calls us to look to our neighbors, coworkers, service workers, bank tellers... and help them bear their burdens.
•
A way we can do this is prayer, my friends.
•
This week, when someone shares their struggles with you, take a moment either with them or alone afterwards to lift them up to Jesus.
•
We’re in this together. Thank God (literally)!

So often today, the idea of the hyper-independent woman with the ability to “do it all” is practically worshipped.
•
What you don’t see is her exhaustion, loneliness, insecurity, and pain.
•
God didn’t intend for us to walk through the challenges of life alone. To become tough, rigid and self righteous.
•
From a biblical standpoint point, He reminds us to look to Him for guidance, understanding, and company through our trials and tribulations.
•
When you’re at the end of your rope, remember that you have a Savior waiting for you with arms open.

Most of us have heard this one before, but what does it actually mean as a woman doing her best to live the Faith?
•
Here’s my take: If Jesus is in your heart… even your worst days, utter failures, and biggest regrets will be used to propel you into the life He intended.
•
At the break of day (the morning!), He is there to help you. Look for Him to find peace, energy, joy, forgiveness, and comfort.
•
This means when you’re losing your crap getting the kids ready, dogs let out, yourself ready for work, where are the keys, OMG there’s no coffee left!!!!
•
Breathe. God is with you, my friend, and He will see you through.

To the burnt out mama, the wife bearing all the burdens, the broken-hearted daughter, the worried sister, and the stretched thin woman...
•
It can be easy to forget that we are called to be kind, soft, and speak from a place of wisdom.
•
Here is your reminder: It is safe to be soft. God did not call you to be superwoman. He called you to be still. To be held.
•
Take a moment today to be intentional with your words towards someone you love (or that you don’t!).
•
If you find it hard to speak kindness and wisdom to others, a good place to start practicing this is the mirror. 🫶🏻
