(click to read on) ... collaborate their individual sets of skills (a number already interested in the Film and Music Industry) and have a go at making a Short Film of outstanding quality on literally NO BUDGET. A month or two after production this film was entered into numerous festivals and is still forging the way fo
r what soon followed to be a unique film company with a new kind of ethos. Moth-Eaten Films was Born. Our Ethos is to act as a go between and mentor to help introduce aspiring Filmmakers to others with the same interests and tutor them in the art of NO-BUDGET filmmaking. We also stress the importance of looking right in front of you, your closest friends could be the most valuable commodity to your film. Do you know a Photographer with descent lights? Have you a friend training to be a joiner? Building a film set would be GREAT work experience. We will aim to be running numerous projects at any one time. Some being Produced + Directed by our admin staff, but others being managed by the Student Filmmakers in association with Moth-Eaten Films who we have simply helped to arrange & organise their production. Giving them guidance, Tips and the contacts they will require along the way. Once films are made we will do our best efforts to have them entered into Festivals and try to ensure that the best films are watched by the right people to maximise their chances of success. We are open to ALL specialist areas in filmmaking; Directors, Producers, Writers, Actors, Set Designers, Artistic Directors, Location Managers, Cinematographers, Editors, Composers, Sound Engineers, Lighting Managers, Cameramen, Production Co-ordinators and many more.
