A wonderful article from TV Guide, July 5, 1986. It confusingly says the show is "going into its seventh full season," when in fact this was published between seasons 7 and 8 (otherwise it couldn't reference Over Our Heads which didn't happen until S7). Presumably the author isn't counting season 1 because it was a 13-episode half-season. (Though season 2 was technically not a 'full season' either - 16 episodes - due to the writers' strike. But whatever. You know I don't like to nit-pick over things like this. 😉 😂)

It really is a lovely tribute to the show, and it's nice how it credits the many factors responsible for the show's longevity. 😁

DIDJA KNOW?! Reb Brown was on "The Facts Of Life!" And shame on us that we totally missed it on the podcast... his cameo role was the Chug-A-Lug Bouncer in S2 E01 “The New Girl (Part 1)” 11/19/1980. Who is Reb Brown? Why, just the previous year had starred in TWO made-for-TV Captain America movies. In the title role of Steve Rogers/Captain America! The first was called simply Captain America, and was broadcast by CBS on January 19, 1979. The second film called Captain America II: Death Too Soon was broadcast ten months later on November 23 & 24, 1979 in two 1-hour installments. An interesting trivia bit from IMDb: “According to Red Brown at Comic-Con, the studios were planning two crossover movies. Captain America (Reb Brown) and Spider-Man (Nicholas Hammond) from The Amazing Spider-Man (1977). The second was Captain America (Brown) and Lou Ferrigno/Bill Bixby from The Incredible Hulk (1978). Unfortunately, neither of these ever materialized.”

Why, it was the MCU that never was!

And now, we discover he also collided with the FOLCU! YAY!
