Unlocking Nigeria’s healthcare value chain will contribute to creating decent and quality jobs for the Nigerian youth towards delivering the Renewed Hope Agenda of Mr. President .

We are leveraging smart partnerships to strike reasonable balance in the size, composition and distribution of the health care workforce. This includes retraining frontline health workforce at the primary care level, particularly empowering female health workers at the frontlines who are more than 2/3 of the total workforce.

Equally, we are determined to effect a managed migration policy as a means to address human resource challenges in a progressive way. This is in addition to the focus on scaling up healthcare infrastructure and equipment in our facilities for enhanced delivery.

Today, we met with Reeta Roy, , President and CEO, Mastercard Foundation and her team. We exchanged insights and explored tangible next steps in our ongoing collaboration with the Foundation.

We were elated when, during subsequent visit to HE President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, Reeta shared the ambitious goal of the Mastercard Foundation to enable 10 million Nigerian young people to gain dignified employment over the next several years, of which health and social welfare sector will be a key pillar.

Thank you, Reeta, and team, for your genuine interest to accelerate and deepen the important work of MasterCard Foundation in Nigeria.

Tinubu ya Sanya Farfesa Muhammad Ali Pate cikin kwamitin yi wa Shirin Inganta Rayuwar Marasa Galihu garambawul

Shugaba Bola Tinubu ya kafa kwamitin ministoci shida wanda zai yi wa Shirin Inganta Rayuwar Marasa Galihu (NSIP) garambawul.

Kafa kwamitin ya biyo bayan dakatar da shirin da Tinubu ya yi, mako ɗaya bayan dakatar da Ministar Harkokin Agaji da Jinƙai, Dakta Betta Edu.

Shugaban Ƙasar ya dakatar da Edu ne bayan sauke jagorar raba Tattalin Marasa Galihu, Hajiya Halima Shehu.

An zargi Edu da karkatar da naira miliyan 585.2 cikin asusun bankin wata ma'aikaciyar gwamnati.

Cikin wata sanarwa da Kakakin Yaɗa Labarai na Shugaban Ƙasa, Ajuri Ngelale, ya fitar a ranar Asabar, ya ce kwamitin da Tinubu ya naɗa ya ƙunshi ministoci shida ƙarƙashin Ministan Harkokin Kuɗaɗe, kuma Ministan Kula da Tattalin Arziki, Mista Wale Edun.

Sauran sun haÉ—a da Ministan YaÉ—a Labarai da Wayar Da Kai, Alhaji Mohammed Idris; Ministan Lafiya, Dakta Ali Pate, da Ministan Kasafi Da Tsare-tsaren Tattalin Arziki, Alhaji Abubakar Bagudu.

Akwai kuma Ministan Sadarwa da Ƙaramin Ministan Harkokin Matasa.

Ngelele ya bayyana nauyin da aka ɗora wa kwamitin, inda ya ce: "An ɗora wa Kwamitin Musamman na Shugaban Ƙasa nauyin gaggauta fara bin diddigin kashe kuɗaɗen Shirin Inganta Rayuwar Marasa Galihu da kuma duba tsare-tsare da ƙa'idojin shirin baki ɗaya.

"Za su yi haka ne domin sake wa shirin fasalin tsare-tsaren raba kuɗaɗe a ayyukan tallafin marasa galihu, shirin ciyar da 'yan makaranta da tallafa wa masu ƙananan sana'o'i. Sai kuma Shirin N-Power da na tallafin kuɗaɗe ga marasa galihu."
