Yesssss!!!! Via 2 Women, Different Bodies, Both WORTHY pt. 3❤️

So often we compare ourselves to what we see online or in media. We even question our worth if we don’t look like these public figures.

Knowing the world we live in, people will see this image and immediately compare. Compare which model looks better, who wore it better or in my case something I hear and experience so often is which body is more “valid” or worthy than the other.
NO let’s change that narrative… WE ARE JUST TWO WOMEN WITH DIFFERENT BODIES. Neither is more worthy or more perfect than the other. We are JUST women with a body❤️✨

Truth! 💯
Body diversity is REAL!
We’re not all supposed to look the same - and there is nothing wrong with that.
⁣
The pursuit of an ideal body type is futile, because each individual’s genetic inheritance influences their bone structure, body size and weight differently... As does environment, circumstances, upbringing and mental and physical health.
⁣⁣
We are all strongly encouraged to strive for the ‘ideal’ body, through diet products, restriction of food, overexercising and even surgery. But this quest is never-ending - because we will never be able to change our DNA. We can spend our lives trying to fit a narrow standard of beauty, to the detriment of all else, but even then, it’s not guaranteed. ⁣

It’s unbelievably unfair that a certain shape and size of body is put on a pedestal and praised, while others are rejected, ridiculed and even abused. I say this knowing very well that my body carries a lot of privilege. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
You can’t tell someone’s health by looking at their body. And even if you could, it doesn’t mean they would be any less worthy for being unhealthy. Every body deserves respect ❤️
