Hello fam, here's a glimpse of the action from the first round of the Shake It Don't Break It Dance Competition held on Saturday, April 27th, 2024, at the Mariannridge Senior Secondary School Hall. The dance crews delivered top-notch performances and truly ignited the stage. Anticipate an unforgettable night at the Grand Finale, scheduled for May 31st, 2024, at the Mariannridge Secondary School Hall. Make sure not to miss it. Doors will open at 6 PM, with an entry fee of R50 for adults and R30 for children under 13 years old. Food stall tables are available for R300 each, and reservations are now open. For more details, please refer to the contact numbers on the flyer.

Group representatives will receive a WhatsApp message containing the rules and regulations of the "Shake It Don't Break It" Dance Competition. Best of luck to everyone!

Good morning, everyone.
The selection/qualification round that occurred on Saturday, April 27th, exceeded our expectations. The dance crews arrived in large numbers and certainly did not disappoint. Nearly all the crews demonstrated their ability to compete for the R10,000 cash prize on Friday, May 31st, with a total of 23 groups being selected.
We are in the process of establishing second and third place prizes, as we anticipate multiple outstanding dance crews. More details will be provided soon.

Photos and videos from the first round will be uploaded shortly. Meanwhile, please help us spread the word by liking and sharing our page and posts.

We thank you in advance for your support and eagerly await your presence at the Grand Finale on Friday, May 31st, at the Mariannridge Secondary School Hall. Doors open at 6 PM, so be sure to arrive early as space is limited.

It's D-Day🟢! All systems are go for Round One🥊 of the "Shake It Don't Break It" DANCE COMPETITION. This is the chance for dance crews to prove if they're ready to compete for the CASH PRIZE of R10,000 on May 31st, 2024. Space is limited for groups, so come prepared to bring your A-game. For those eager to witness the magic, doors open at 12 PM at Mariannridge Secondary School Hall. Entry fees are R30 for adults and R20 for children 13yrs and under. Refreshments and snacks will be available for purchase, and for added entertainment, we've included an OPEN MIC🎤.

REMEMBER: THIS IS A FAMILY-FRIENDLY EVENT, SO

With less than four weeks until the Pre-selections & Qualification round, set for April 27th, 2024, at Mariannridge Secondary School Hall starting at 12pm, the excitement is building.
ALL DANCE GROUPS EAGER TO COMPETE FOR THE R10K CASH PRIZE MUST ATTEND ON APRIL 27TH WITH A DANCE ROUTINE OF AT LEAST 30 SECONDS AND MORE. SUCCESSFUL GROUPS WILL ADVANCE TO THE GRAND FINALE BASED ON THE JUDGES' DECISION.
NOTE: Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult to gain entry. As a family-friendly event, we will have SAPS and private security on-site to ensure a safe environment; any disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
Additionally, we're hosting a hip hop & poetry open mic segment for those talented on the mic.
There will also be refreshments and snacks available for purchase.

It is heating up fam!
Groups are gearing up, Ex-dancers are planning a come back. With all this hype and excitement about the Shake It Don't Break It DANCE COMPO we just hope that you are ready to see flames on the dance floor and maybe loose your voice.

Remember, dance groups that are interested in competing for the grand prize of R10 000 on the 31st of May 2024 must show up on the 27th of April 2024 @ the Mariannridge Sec. School Hall between 12pm to 4pm. Groups need come prepared with a 30-40 minutes dance routine and if the group is good enough then they will be put through to the GRAND FINALE.

It's a beautiful Monday fam and we hope your week is off to a great start.
Just a reminder, that the Shake It Don't Break It DANCE COMPO, a two part competition, with ROUND ONE being on Saturday the 27th of April 2024 from 12pm/midday at the Mariannridge Sec. School Hall. This is where the dance crews will need to come prepared with a 30-40 seconds dance routine, and if the judges think the crew has what it takes to compete for the CASH PRIZE of R10,000, then the dance crew is through to ROUND TWO.

ROUND TWO
The GRAND FINALE, set for Friday the 31st of May from 6pm/18:00pm also at the iconic Mariannridge Sec, School Hall. This is where the dance crews which have been pre-selected go HEAD TO HEAD for the ultimate grand prize of R10,000 and to be crowned the Shake It Don't Break It DANCE COMPO 2024 CHAMPIONS.
