Archbishop Janani Luwum, overseer of the Anglican Church in 🇺🇬 and 🇷🇼 spoke vital prophetic truth to power under the reign of despot Idi Amin. Among tribal, systemic and national sin, his voice of descent was a true witness to the injustices faced by his people.

"If I the shepherd flee, what will happen to the sheep?"

On the memorial of his martyrdom, we are reminded of the call to be witnesses at any cost, with a deeper conviction that there is laid up for us a crown of life. Might you find the resolve to serve the King unwaveringly!
