We hope to bring people's attention to up and coming bands (local or otherwise) and also to lesser known artists. To begin with, we are having interviews with local and smaller artists to discuss things such as what they like to play, what they're up to and what they're hoping to achieve. We also feature a few of their tracks at the start and end of the show. Mixcloud:

If you're an artist who wants to have their band featured on the show, message the page or check out our 'contact us' section. You can have your album written up by sending us a physical copy of it. You can also promote your own tracks on www.fasttracks.proboards.com

The original name for the page was 'We Have A Technical', a reference to a lesser-known Gary Numan song. However, it clearly can't have been that lesser-known as the discovery was later made that there was already a podcast with the same name... what are the chances! The replacement name, Total Tees, was long-term debated and eventually accepted. The name is supposed to be a pun on the word 'tease' and 'tees', if you didn't work that one out already. This is, for now, a placeholder name but may become permanent. My own music page:

I'm looking for artists to feature in a Youtube & Apple music playlist. I'm trying to do my bit to support indie music after the Spotify changes. I also keep finding myself not sure what to listen to so a new playlist would be good I'll be promoting it with Youtube and listening myself on Apple (to get you more moneys!)

I'll accept anything but plays may rely on how much I actually like it 😆. DM me a link to a tune you'd like featured (from your monetised topic page if possible)

Spit n Dab are back on the road from January 2024.
After a devastating and cruel loss we made the decision to park the Spit n Dab show up for a while and we would like to take this opportunity to apologise for any bookings that were cancelled.
We’re now back and working on new sketches, songs and routines ready to hit the road in the new year.
Please feel free to contact Neil & The Act Store or through our page.
Hopefully see you next year.
SnD.

'We want to bring the Studio back to the people of Hartlepool, promoting and nurturing local talent.

As a registered charity all we do is run by volunteers, people with passion and dedication to support our community and work with other community groups whilst putting on some pretty amazing gigs.

As we celebrate 25 years there are somethings that need a bit of attention. Like the recording studio.

Live Room 1 holds lots of great memories for many local musicians however, over the years the equipment has become outdated or broken but, we are working hard to bring it back.

It’s going pretty well, we’ve managed to access some equipment courtesy of generous musicians but in order to facilitate recordings we need a new Mac.

You may have seen that it was recently Mark ‘Pino’ Pinchen’s 5th Memorial and in our 25th year we feel it fitting to also celebrate Pino’s contribution and dedication to The Studio by renaming the recording studio as The Mark Pinchen Community Studio.

Once we have raised the funds for the mac and completed the revamp, we will be celebrating with an unveiling of a plaque in Pino’s honour. '

We are bringing back our community recording studio and we need £2000 to purchase a mac so bands can actually record their music.

Really tragic news for North East music :(

It is with a very heavy heart that we can confirm that we lost our beautiful Hannah in the early hours of Sunday 28th May.
No words can describe the loss to her family, friends and the world of music.
An incredible talent taken far too soon, we love you 💕

In Small Artist Sunday, I intend to share small artists that I love. Since it's Women's History Month, why don't we start with a female artist and go with Josefin Ohrn & The Liberation? I discovered her thanks to autoplay on Apple Music and I'm very greatful for that.

PIANO 36
As you’ll see from this article, Jim and Charlie have helped their old secondary school to buy a new piano for the music department.
They had the names of 36 singers and bands from the Glasgow area (some of whom also went to Holyrood School) added to it, which will hopefully bring inspiration to the pupils.

Mathematically speaking, he might be right with the sheer amount of acts out there but the same rule applies to Radio Shows and the majority that are sh*te aren't the little ones that support us 😬

It has not gone down well.

THE MEN OF EMMERDALE KNOW

For the first time in its fifty year history, Emmerdale will be airing an episode featuring an ensemble cast of only male actors.

In coming weeks Marlon Di**le, played by Mark Charnock, will set up a late night lock-in at the Emmerdale Woolpack, with one thing on the agenda.......men talking to each other.

This pub gathering will follow Marlon’s horrifying discovery that his friend Paddy was trying to kill himself. With Paddy's mental health continuing to be fragile, and after bringing him safely home, Marlon wants to do anything he can to help his friend.

Laura Shaw, Producer explains:

“When we embarked on this heartbreaking storyline about Paddy's depression and attempted su***de we knew we wanted to shine a light on how important it is to just talk. Inspired by listening to real stories from the charity ANDYSMANCLUB, we decided to have some of the men in our village come together for a very special episode which purely focuses on them and seeing them talking about whatever they are feeling or thinking. If watching some of our most loved characters opening up to each other encourages just one person to reach out and start talking, we will be extremely thankful."

On Friday 10th March the front doors of the Woolpack will be locked and the men of the village will stay behind for a late night lock-in with the hope of using the night as a forum to talk.

Paddy’s best friend Marlon played by Mark Charnock is the catalyst and explains:

”Despite Paddy being home and safe back in the heart of the village Marlon is finding it hard to get through to him and is worried Paddy will never find the courage to open up and talk. When Chas and Jimmy both unwittingly give Marlon this idea it’s not long before Marlon is acting on their information and setting up this lock-in. He just hopes it will help.”

For this ongoing storyline Emmerdale have worked with Samaritans and ANDYSMANCLUB.

Neil Waine from ANDYSMANCLUB commented:

“Today in the UK 3 in 4 su***des are men. If this episode of Emmerdale can shed a light on how important it is for men to talk we will be delighted as it may just reach that one man who sees that and makes that brave, life changing step to go to an ANDYSMANCLUB. Kudos to Emmerdale for approaching this subject so head on and with such accuracy which we all felt was important."

Emmerdale, 7.30PM, weeknights on ITV1.
An ITV Studios Production.
