DELHI AIR UPDATE 🚨
Delhi is facing very high air pollution, and to control it, authorities have banned coal and firewood-based tandoors across the city.
This means restaurants, dhabas and street food stalls will now need to use cleaner options like gas or electric cooking. The step is part of GRAP-IV rules, which are applied when air quality becomes dangerous to breathe.
Why this matters 👇
• Smoke from coal and firewood adds to air pollution
• Poor air affects everyone, especially kids and the elderly
• Fewer emissions = slightly cleaner air for the city
It may change how some food is cooked, but the goal is simple — protect public health and improve Delhi’s air.
