Bajesband De Niemanders lanceert live-album exclusief voor gedetineerden en single 'Oblawa' voor de rest van de wereld!

In het kader van hun album gemaakt met gedetineerden toerden Rocco Ostermann en Wout Kemkens afgelopen jaar niet alleen langs concertzalen, schouwburgen en kerken maar ook langs gevangenissen. Dat resulteerde in een heus live-album, dat echter alleen exclusief gedeeld wordt met gedetineerden. Voor de buitenwereld brengen we een gesjeesde versie van het Poolse protestlied 'Oblawa' naar buiten. Beluister de track hier:

The song 'The Journey Home' is the third single and sixth track of the new Knight Area album (out on February 25, 2022).

The intention with 'D-DAY II – The Final Chapter' was to shed more light on the man behind the soldier. In this song the journey home is described in a figurative sense. After returning home, in many cases there was no opportunity for the soldiers to tell their story, no respect; in many cases people didn’t want to know anything more about the war, but were purely focused on the future. It cost many of the veterans a large part of their lives. Fortunately, from later years after the war, more and more respect and appreciation came for these soldiers and there are also many who could have peace at some point and leave the war behind.
