The Patriarchy Podcast | Anger, Faith, and the Battle Ahead – A Call to Men After Charlie Kirk’s Assassination
In this episode, we break format and bring you a special sermon from Pastor Joseph Spurgeon at Sovereign King Church—a raw, unfiltered charge to Christian men following the public ex*****on of Charlie Kirk.
From righteous anger to unshakeable faith, Pastor Spurgeon doesn’t hold back. He calls men to reject cowardice, confront sin, and fight back—not with vengeance, but with bold, biblical obedience.
We are at war—and the battle begins in the heart, the home, and the church. This is not the time to shrink back. This is the time to build, fight, protect, and lead.

Although our Brother in Christ Charlie Kirk has gone to be with our Lord, his wife and two children still need our prayers.

Any number of verses about death can be found in Gods Word but let us remember what Charlie died doing. He died spreading his faith and defending Gods will in abortion, genders and many other such topics. He died standing strong against the waters. He died with a Bible in front of him. He died holding strong. His last words were discussing transgenderism in relation to mass shootings. Let us Hope we can be half as bold as he was. Do not fear man. Accomplish your mission.

Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples! - 1 Chronicles 16:24

For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news! - Romans 10:13-15

God is our refuge and strength,
A very ready help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear, though the earth shakes
And the mountains slip into the heart of the sea;
Though its waters roar and foam,
Though the mountains quake at its swelling pride. Selah - Psalm 46:1-3

And now I am about to go the way of all the earth, and you know in your hearts and souls, all of you, that not one word has failed of all the good things that the Lord your God promised concerning you. All have come to pass for you; not one of them has failed. - Joshua 23:14

Brothers, please be in prayer for a fellow brother, Charlie Kirk. God is sovereign over all things.

"The wicked plots against the righteous
and gnashes his teeth at him, but the Lord laughs at the wicked, for he sees that his day is coming.
The wicked draw the sword and bend their bows to bring down the poor and needy, to slay those whose way is upright;
their sword shall enter their own heart,
and their bows shall be broken."
-Psalm 37:12-15

The rise of natural law is causing many to be labeled under one umbrella. Any kind of law according to God will get someone thrown in as Christian nationalism. Many titles that Christians have owned were once insults, so perhaps this is another to embrace.

The president of Hillsdale says there can't be a Christian nation because Jesus' kingdom isn't of this world. However, Jesus expects His kingdom to intersect with and transform the kingdoms of this world. It's where things are headed.

It's recognized that God organized humanity into nations, not arbitrarily, but as part of His providential governance. Nations play a significant role in God's plan, persisting across generations. The calling is to disciple the nations, starting with the one we live in. Have you thought about this?

It's interesting that society easily accepts the cultural, political, and national manifestations of other religions, but hesitates when it comes to Christianity. Modern Christians in America often see the gospel in privatized terms, limited to a personal relationship with Jesus, and not as something that spills over into public life. Have you ever felt this way?

The apostles challenged religious pluralism, proclaiming Jesus as the only path. Peter's sermon in Acts 4 emphasizes salvation solely through Jesus' name. This challenges the statism and pluralism prevalent in the Roman Empire, asserting Jesus's Lordship against Caesar's claim.

The gospel Paul preached was socially and politically potent, making public truth claims. Many have privatized it, falling into the trap of believing it's only true for them, not objectively. It is a real problem, and it needs addressing. Have you ever considered this perspective?

The speaker shares why they pursue a Christian nationalist project, stating it stems from a love for one's neighbor and a belief that Christian faith benefits society. They contend that secularism and humanism have led to more bloodshed and greed, arguing that the Christian faith is good for everyone.

Many people misunderstand Christian nationalism, thinking it's about forcing faith. However, it envisions a nation shaped by Christian teachings, where the Church plays a central role in law, politics, and culture. It's about discipling a nation, not forcing individual conversions. Have you considered this perspective?

In Western history, old demons were kept out for 1500 years. Now, they've been summoned back, wreaking havoc and causing widespread misery, family breakdowns, and mental illness. When Christian faith flourishes, it is good for everybody. Tag a friend who gets it.
