If anyone knows me and Gabe, we both love going to comic cons and working on different cosplays. It can take months or even longer to work on some of these cosplays until they’re finished, so why do we do it? It’s our safe spaces, getting to dress in outfits from film, games, etc. that raised us over the years, but that’s not the only reason. I’ve always loved getting to meet characters at theme parks, and knowing how happy those moments made me pushes me to work on my cosplays even more. A few months ago, I dressed up as Captain Jack Sparrow at WDW to give out pirate coins to kids around the park, and seeing the joy on their faces made me so happy. Then, the other week Gabe called me after he debuted his ODST OC at ETSU Con, and told me the same thing, how awesome it was for your work to be appreciated, but also bring a smile to someone’s face. - Blake

Hey, everyone! I’ve been recovering from surgery for the past week and a half, so I haven’t been as active. However, once I’m back to full strength I’ll be posting a video with unreleased footage from this summer, when I traveled to Colorado! Plus, I’ve got a couple of other videos planned, so stay tuned! Hey, everyone! I wanted to give you a quick update on a monologue I’ve been writing and editing, which should be out soon. I’ve always been a dreamer since I was little, but it’s a balancing act trying to navigate the college/career field, while still allowing myself to follow my dreams. I’ve watched too many people around me give up on their dreams, because they feel as if it doesn’t fit into the boxes anymore. It’s so important to not let your fears overtake your dreams, you deserve to soar. - Blake

Howdy, folks! Happy Valentine’s Day from The Park Freaks! 💛 If there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that I’m a lover. As I got older, I started experiencing a lot of tough moments in my life, loss, grief, and much more, but it helped me learn how important love is. Plus, it molded me into this beautiful lover, who always wears his heart on his sleeve, sees the good in all, and fights for what he believes. I'm grateful for all the love I get to share in this wonderful life from friends, family, and my chosen family too. - Blake
