Whizzkid/الولد الذكي, a fun- filled bilingual magazine for children in Qatar. Published by Glare Media, Whizzkid/Al Walad Al Thaki is the first bilingual (Arabic-English) kid’s magazine completely produced in Qatar, catering to the needs of both locals and expatriates.
“The magazine does not boast of being able to convert the younger generation into avid readers overnight. It is a gentle attempt

to make the young ones aware of themselves and their surroundings through the eyes of our mascot, Whizzy, a youngster whom the children can relate to,” said Glare Media managing director Rashmi Vaidya.
