"The Merry Dancers on TV" is just about to reach 1,500 views on youtube... would you do me the honor of being the 1,500th view? 💗
The film was made at the height of lockdown at the beginning of this year (you can tell by Moon Girl's calendar that reads 'March'!) and going from making it while feeling so far away from everybody and everything to now being able to hear everybody's thoughts in person lately has been really affirming for me.
It's been so special to see art return to something that connects us all and brings us together once again.

I'm so lucky that on projects like this I'm able to set aside time in my 'work' day to be able to focus on making over 50 mini kids drawings... absolutely obsessed with making this passion something I can do more and more often!! 🚀

In just three days, we get to share the first song from our debut album 'Neither Is, Nor Ever Was' on Shimmy-Disc. 'The Merry Dancers On TV' comes out this Friday!

⏳ It's less than a week until our single 'The Merry Dancers On TV' comes out on Shimmy-Disc! How did that happen?! Here's a peak at the stunning stop-motion Fiona Burton created.
I've always been a lover of Children's book covers so here's my take on one! I made this little mouse armature and named him Scrump 🐭🎩
Scrump's design is inspired by Van Helsing and the backstory I have for him at the moment is that he lives in the flower beds of cemeterys and makes sure all the spooky spirits stay in line. He is avaible to hire for any of your haunted cemetery needs ⚰🏹
Yesterday I made a tiny bow and sheath for the puppet im currently working on! 🏹 Nothing beats a whole day spent crafting and listening to podcasts and audio books 📚
I spent around 3 days felting this 35cm moon character for the film I'm currently working on! 🌔 waking up everyday to see the last day's work with fresh eyes is so rewarding- especially when it reminds me so much of the moon from Bear in The Big Blue House- something I hadn't thought of during the character design process but which its influence on me became so obvious the first time I laid eyes on the completed model 💗🌔🚀

i've been referring to her in my storyboard as 'Moon Girl' and 'Lil Tamia' because her character design is based on my niece 💗✨
