Looking back on how far I’ve come ... from being that 12-year-old girl who escaped from reality by writing and drawing in her journals about her fears, hurts and dreams
to the time I published a magazine, a dream of mine for a long time ... I realize I can be proud of myself in so many ways.
Now I’m in the midst of writing my memoir and putting together a collection of my poetry for publishing, something I never thought of doing, but a very special person encouraged me to start this journey, and I’m so thankful for it.
Going down memory lane brings back pain, hurt, and suffering, but also all the beautiful experiences, adventures and the people who entered my life, whether for a short time or for the long run.
With each chapter that’s filling the pages, I find myself healing more and breaking down the wall I built around myself.
I know everything I’ve received and experienced in this lifetime may have not been kind, but the lessons and experiences have shaped me into the person I am today.
This page is a glimpse of my little world, my thoughts, inspiration, heartbreaks, love, a collection of my poetry from my early writing years to the present; not all pretty, but they helped me through my dark times; paintings, stories, music and travel.
Not only mine but a collection of poems, music and thoughts of poets and writers I am inspired by and relate to.
