On April 19, uNIC Studios celebrated its 5th anniversary. In a world where most businesses fold within the first year and where most businesses never release a product, uNIC Studios has made it through many challenges and testing times. Five years is a long time, an almost inconceivable amount of time. In five years, people can change dramatically. In five years, the world can change astonishingly. In five years, uNIC Studios has changed in many ways. We have evolved, grown, struggled, and thrived.

Despite all the changes we’ve experienced personally and professionally, uNIC Studios has two constants: Our core values of freedom, innovation, and efficiency, and our unique vision to create amazing products consistently and create a new culture in the video game industry that injects a new life of fun, fantasy, and challenge into a new generation of players.

As the CEO of this company, I can say that I am proud of the work we’ve done and the work we’re doing. I maintain the vision the founders had when signing the articles of organization on April 19, 2019, in Ashland, Kentucky – A simple idea, but a big dream. We take inspiration from many successful companies that have come before us, but with our unique array of talents, our motivation to continue to learn and improve, our motivation to serve our customers and audiences, and our passion for building interesting worlds, great characters, and epic stories.

To reach such a milestone is a time for thanks. First, I would like to thank our leaders, the COO Casey Stroud and CFO Earl Hart, for their resilience and loyalty to the business. Without their tireless work and effort, uNIC Studios would not exist today. I would like to thank our team members - former and current - that we’ve worked with over the years. Without our team members, as small as we are, the things we envision for this company would not be possible. I would like to thank our affiliates, especially Squid Ink Scribbles for their unending support and amazing supplemental work for our products. Lastly, I would like to thank the fans and our customers who have supported us so far.

uNIC Studios has big plans. Our first five years will not amount to our last. We see uNIC Studios as a new staple, a cultural icon that will develop games and products that everyone wants and loves. We want to create beloved characters, tell timeless stories, and weave seamless worlds. We want to inspire the next generation of creativity. It’s not done in five short years, either. This is something we are willing to go the distance for, something we’re willing to dedicate ourselves to, and it’s something that gives uNIC Studios cause to exist for the next 100 years. We may only have one product thus far, but this is by no means the extent of our capabilities and ideas, this is by no means the end of us.

We can’t wait to show everyone what’s in store.
