Sinigang na Hipon with Datu Puti Vinegar

It has been raining these past few days that is why my hubby and I decided to cooked a very comforting meal with a twist. We cooked Sinigang na Hipon using Datu Patu original vinegar as our "paasim." We ha been using Datu Puti Vinegar in our dipping sauce and marinades because it is really safe to use and naturally fermented that is why we try adding it too with our favorite dish, the Sinigang sa Hipon to have that superior asim sarap. And it really did not disappoint because it really turn out to be so good, napa-Mukhasim kami sa sarap. If you want to try it too, please check our recipe below. 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻 1-2 cups Datu Puti Vinegar 1pc Onion 2pcs Tomatoes 900ml water 1pc Finger Chili (Siling Haba) 0.5 cup Sitaw 0.5 cup Eggplant 1tbsp Fish Sauce 0.5kg Shrimp 1 cup Kangkong Procedure: 1. Saute onion and tomatoes in a pan. for 5minutes. 2.Pour in 900ml water and allow it to boil. for 10minutes. 3.Add 1-2 cups of Datu Puti Vinegar and continue to boil for 3 to 4 minutes. 4.Next season with 1tbsp fish sauce and add sitaw and eggplant. Cover with lid and simmer for a minute. 5.Add kangkong and finger chilis into the broth. Cover again and simmer for a minute. 6.Pour into a serving plate with steamed rice. Enjoy! Choco Caramel Lava Trifle Using Lemon Square Lava Cake 🎂

Here is the video of how I did our Choco Caramel Lava Trifle. Can I tell you a secret? I am one of those who are really not good at cooking or baking. Though I love watching cooking shows ever since I was young, I still feel overwhelmed whenever I am in the kitchen. But being a mom makes me try to do things that I don’t usually do. Like, making fun desserts (with no baking required, of course) for my kids. Sharing with you the recipe of my Choco Caramel Lava Trifle made with Lemon Square Lava Cake. Ingredients: 2-3pcs Lemon Square Choco Lava Cake 2 Tbsp Choco Syrup 2 Tbsp Peanut Butter 1 Pack All Purpose Cream 2 Tbsp Caramel Syrup Optional: 2 Tbsp Mixed Nuts 2 Tbsp Choco Bits 1 Tbsp Sprinklers Steps: 1. Mash the Lemon Square Choco Lava Cake and set aside. 2. In a mixing bowl pour the All purpose cream and 2 tablespoon Peanut butter. Beat until peaks form. 3. In a clear mug, layer the mashed Lemon Square Choco Lava Cake. 4. Spread the choco syrup, then the whipping cream mixture and then the caramel syrup. 5. Layer the mixed nuts and choco bits. 6. Repeat this process until your mug / jar is full. 7. Add sprinklers for more fun. 8. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours before serving. Enjoy! It’s so easy, right? A few simple steps and ingredients and I was able to make my kids a super fun and delicious dessert!
