airing Fridays from 8–9 a.m. When she’s not teaching, mentoring
or hosting her show, she can often
be found on beautiful Whidbey Island. Dena Marie has spent years as a personal trainer and by combining those skills with her genuine desire to empower people of all ages, she has transformed her personal training work into becoming an ‘energy counselor’. Knowing how to energize and heal the outer body is only the beginning of understanding the deeper more powerful energy systems which lie within. Through a variety of methods focusing mainly on the seven chakra systems and the use of colors, Dena will help you discover which aspects of your inner self are not running at ‘full speed’. Whether it’s your personal relationships, self esteem, or just an inability to express yourself, unlocking the simple use of the chakra system begins to allow balanced healing energy to flow through you. This focused energy then creates a happier, healthier, and more powerful life. In her book Our Energy Matters, Dena uses everyday language to simplify the age-old mysteries of the chakras. She has also created an exciting unique game where you can determine if you’re utilizing your energy to its fullest potential and then even offers ‘prescriptions’ on how to address those areas where your energy may need a tune-up. Like a personal trainer who sets out to inspire and encourage you with a routine for your physical health, Dena hopes to offer an energy routine which will inspire and encourage you to embrace your deeper higher inner energy. HAPPY WINTER SOLSTICE! Tomorrow Grandfather Sun will stop in his journey to the south for the briefest instant. And then he will change directions, and begin the 6-month journey back to the north. Please join me in celebrating and connecting with these energetic and spiritual happenings. There are several very magical things here. One is the moment of stoppage, where the darkness hits its peak. And another is the birth of the new light, as the days now will begin to grow longer. Christmas is an adaptation of this paganism, with its own version of the birth of the son (Sun). And please don’t freak out at the use of the word “pagan.” This does not mean evil. The true definition of pagan is spirituality that is derived from nature and her cycles – nothing weird here. Jack Allis
