We are incredibly honored to welcome Ray Keith (OFFICIAL) to the BassRoutes roster!

Ray Keith is one of the UK’s most respected names in jungle and drum and bass, often regarded as one of the Godfathers and pioneers of Jungle and DnB. Renowned for his bass-heavy yet soulful sounds and seamless skills both in production and performance, this iconic DJ, producer and record label boss has remained at the pinnacle of the scene, since helping to pioneer the genre three decades ago.

A true visionary in the genre with his unique twist of soulful heavy-edged jungle, Ray Keith remains at the forefront of the culture, smashing up dance floors worldwide with DJ and live band acts.
As Dread Recordings turns 30 this year, we’re excited to craft a special tour which commemorates the immense contributions that Ray Keith and Dread have made to our jungle culture….stay in touch catch this legend all over North America late summer/early Fall 2024!

BassRoutes is very excited to announce that LO has joined the agency!

Chicago native LO! grew up with a diverse musical background; training in classical piano, guitar, bass, drums, and vocals. Growing up with post-punk and industrial goth influences—and inspired by the early sounds of Marcus Intalex, Alix Perez, Calibre, Total Science, Good Looking and anything Metalheadz—LO! has been carving out his own musical niche for the last two decades. With a nonstop production itch and limitless desire to grow his style, LO! has gained some serious momentum over the past few years, with well-recognized releases on AFT Records (UK), Rebel Music (UK) and Lotus Mathematics (USA).

LO! continues to grow his craft with a range of soulful drum and bass sporting a jungly edge, alongside experimental LoFi electronica served up à la carte. Always pushing the sounds of our culture, he is capturing the attention of established labels and producers with his latest productions championed by drum and bass pioneer Ray Keith for Dread Recordings (UK), and recent releases on stateside powerhouses LionDub International and Prestige Music.

With his reach expanding internationally, LO! Has played as direct support for Goldie, Bryan Gee, Paul T and Edward Oberon, Alix Perez, Hyroglifics, and Monty. This month BassRoutes turns 5 years old…wow!
It’s been a whirlwind ride since late 2018, and am really proud of the work we’ve done together over the last 5 years. I’m completely humbled and honored to represent our amazing group of artists, and am dedicated to continuing to make a positive impact on our industry. Lots of great announcements ahead in the coming weeks and super excited for 2024. Thanks to everyone for being on this journey with me and I can’t wait to continue forward!

Not only is this SO well written, but for the first time, (instead of just focusing on what JUICE or BassRoutes does), this really conveys the tireless efforts and energy that I put into sustaining this night. Bluntly composed, and true. I think a lot of the work I do flies under the radar and most don’t know that I’m a team of four people wrapped up into one individual. I keep at it because my love for the music, the industry, and the stateside scene runs deep.

I’m very grateful to get the word out there about our humble Portland night; I’ve literally dedicated my life to it the last 18 years! There have been countless challenges, and many times over I didn’t think that I could physically or financially afford to keep it all going.

We’ve had a sort of renaissance the last few years (even despite a pandemic), and I have my incredible husband, the twitch platform, and YOU all to thank for it. It’s because of YOU that JUICE still exists! My deepest appreciation to every person who comes into a show to dance, a stream to listen, or purchases a piece of merch to support. YOU have enabled our survival—and that fuels me to continue pushing this music for the rest of my life!
