Two-time champion Lewis Ward and his Apex Racing Academy teammate Dan McAuley were mighty impressive last night in the wet at Donington Park, the former taking two victories out of two in Rounds 9 & 10 of the Sim Racing Magazine GT4 Challenge.

A week or so ago I headed to the Runway Visitor Park at Manchester Airport and saw one of Emirates SkyCargo's beefy Boeing 777s come in - a regular flight that commenced at Manchester a few months ago.
The engines - and just about everything else on the 777 - are just colossal. What a bit of kit!

Exactly a week ago, from the moment this is being posted, I took this picture. RIAT 2024 was awesome and I'd forgotten quite how colossal the world's largest military airshow was.
Hopefully this picture does it some form of justice, but really it's only the tip of the iceberg.
The brand new F-15QA Ababil was beyond impressive at RIAT 2024, last weekend. The F-15 has always been possibly the best military aircraft ever made, having never been shot down, but to call this latest iteration terrifying wouldn't be an understatement.
I took my trusty Sony A6100 to the Royal International Air Tattoo and snapped lots of pictures throughout the weekend.
One of the most impressive sights was this epic line up of F-16s to celebrate the type's 50th anniversary. What a gorgeous and formidable jet she is.
I had an outrageously good time at the 2024 Royal International Air Tattoo with this marvellous bunch. It was my first time back at the world's largest military airshow for five years and it felt like I'd never left.

Great to see Lina Van de Mars again last weekend! We first worked together just over a year ago at the Nurburgring, and bumped into each other again this year as I commentated the ETRC and she presented the Fan TV!

It was tough at Daytona last night in the Evolution Sim Racing TCR Championship, on iRacing. With no practice I managed to score two 9th place finishes in class from Races 1 and 2, with a 12th-in-class result in Race 3.
Going to Spa next week, I'm 12th in the Pro class standings of 21 that have raced so far.

For four years now, since Season 2 in late 2017, I've been making trailers for the World GT Championship on iRacing - one of the greatest leagues I've ever witnessed. Hop aboard the CQR Club Ferrari 488 GTE around Monza, as I try and Qualify for Season 6 of the World GT Championship on iRacing. This lap will by no means be the quickest you'll see, but I managed a 1:45.498, putting me 30th of 43 Drivers who have set times so far, with another 51 yet to get out on track! Only the Top 60 will progress to take part in the Championship. I'm only 5 thousandths of a second behind my team mate Dan McAuley, and 0.190 seconds ahead of another CQR driver - Matt Bunn. My mistakes here were a poor entrance into the Variante Ascari, compromising my speed on exit, and getting on the throttle too early in the Parabolica. It looked as though I could have managed a 1:45.2 but all I can do now is make sure that I make the cut and improve in my second (and final!) attempt, tomorrow. Thanks as always to my teammates at CQR for helping me so much.
