In 2017, Ven Scott , Tracee Beebe, and Brandon Torres got together to make the short film DATE FROM HELL. This trial by fire production (3 back to back nights, lots of sfx, and a couple of hard last minute location changes due to weather) led to a critically acclaimed short film and the realization that we should definitely be making more movies together. While during a first-of-the year pow-wow to decide on the team’s 2019 slate of projects, they also realized they needed a name for their new partnership. It was at that moment that Tracee’s little mutt jumped on Ven’s lap and looked indignantly at Tracee as if to say “Less talking, more movie making.” And thus the name for our company was revealed!
