Calling Darkness Podcast
Six women. One book. And a demon from hell. This is Calling Darkness, an audio drama that follows the mishaps of six girls who inadvertently summon a demon, and have to deal with the chilling consequences. Calling Darkness is a horror comedy show from the pens of NoSleep writers, S.H. Cooper and Gemma Amor. Along with four other amazing women, Audio Drama Queens has assembled various talents with one goal in mind: to create awesome, female-led podcasts! This first project is a horror comedy podcast entitled Calling Darkness, which tells the tale of six women who come together for an acting seminar, only to summon a demon from the bowels of hell (y'know, as you do). There are 10, 30 minute episodes planned for season one, which is set to be released in February of 2019! Our group, the Audio Drama Queens, is comprised of authors Gemma Amor and S.H. Cooper, both of whom have had work featured on productions such as The NoSleep Podcast, artist Desdymona Howard, who works as an artist and researcher for podcasts such as Sirenicide, and voice actresses Victoria Juan, Allison Brandt, and Charlotte Norup, who have appeared in productions such as The Grey Rooms Podcast, Copperheart, and Creepy Podcast. In addition to the ADQ gals, we have an excellent team of actors, artists, and audio engineers from across the audioverse working with us to make our dream a reality.
