About Us

Zack is from Indiana in the United States. He graduated from the Viking and Medieval Norse Master’s program at the in 2017 and is now a PhD candidate in Comparative Literature. He works mostly with American reception and Viking and Norse-themed American literature. He enjoys NBA basketball, thinks he’s very funny and is mostly to blame for the poor sound quality of these interviews.

Jack is from Cumbria in the UK. He is a Master’s student at the University of Iceland, writing his thesis on the reception of Old Norse-Icelandic language and literature in twentieth-century British poetry. He is also currently involved in a project at the Árni Magnússon Institute, working on a digital edition of the Codex Regius of Snorra Edda. In his spare time he sets the streets of Reykjavík alight with his swing dancing skills.
