There is something special about today.

Firstly Thank You to all service men present and past. Today, especially, we remember the fallen and remember to be grateful for the life we get to live NOW because of the sacrifice they made.

We also take care and remembering the mate you know who suffers on this day due to PTSD, which is very REAL and something as simple as saying “hey mate, thank you for serving and being brave,” can help them with whatever they are feeling today.

Willem served 7 years in RAN. We have fathers, uncles, aunties and brothers who also served in the forces. It’s close to our hearts and today we remember all of them. ♥️

We had high speed internet on the Nullarbor with RV dish.

So many have asked us seeing it in our photos and while camping near us.

Definitely is an investment for us to have internet wherever we are as work online.

This is a prehistoric rainforest. It’s easy to get ‘lost’ in a fantasy while walking to Russell falls, horseshoe falls and taking the circuit through some of the world’s Tallest trees to Lady Barron falls. All up taking 2.5 hours

We are fully self-contained and off-grid so we don’t need any facilities for a few days. This simple site in a paddock is all we need.

📍Hippo’s Yawn - it’s pretty cool how nature has a way to present itself in ways we can interpret it and tell stories.

If you’re at Wave Rock Hyden, be sure to walk the extra few hundred metres or drive to the carpark to see the Hippo’s yawn.

Salt pond - Wave Rock
Is it all that?

For $10 & $5 pp (A & C) we think the price is a bit steep but we realise the work put in to make this an experience not many can have and helps the town of Hyden. We trust the fees will go towards the ongoing renovations for future visitors.

The experience itself, pretty cool to float so easily, basically feeling weightless.

The kids were a bit hesitant, not understanding. They both can swim but anything other than clear swimming pool they want a floaty..

When they realised their floating without trying, it was go-go-go.

🚿 shower and toilet at every hut, though not all toilets were open.

Shades/huts to sit and enjoy a picnic perhaps.

“How do we get to the pond and magic lake?”

Pay for access key at kiosk at caravan park (near wave rock car park).

Across from the road of kiosk, there is a boom gate to access the road to lake magic and salt pond, as well as Wave rock resort.

A day of driving and exploring this beautiful piece of Broome and one of its famous gems!

The area is home to many wildlife, especially birds. Be sure to not disturb their habitat (drones, we stayed off the beach with ours).

Why we started hustling

‘NETFLIX & CHILL’.... Ahhhh that old saying...

Hustle & Chill today because we decided to get ourselves into gear and start living the way we need to for the next 5 years to be able to retire early and not have to work till we are 70. We want to enjoy time with our kids and family whenever we want to. Not just when we get to take a holiday from the 9-5. We decided to stop what was keeping us occupied (e.g. Netflix) and start Hustling so that we can CHILL (I know what you’re thinking, no... just relaxing) more often.

Our goals and plans for the future are simple.

Hustle NOW
