This is THE ONLY east side night where you can enjoy all the latest and greatest soul, funk and breaks. In addition to bringing you the best soul/funk bands from Europe every month, you can expect to hear your favourite Stevie Wonder and James Brown tracks to get you in the groove and then heavier, newer sounds from the party breaks and funky mashup scenes to take the party off to the early hours.

It’s a night of flirty, upbeat music, with an atmosphere that follows. Jimi Needles and Hillman Mondegreen curate a monthly live and deejay residency at Bar Music Hall in the heart of Shoreditch. Having launched the brand several years ago in Wi******er, it has moved to Southampton, Edinburgh and then to a bi-monthly slot in east London. But Funkology has now reached it’s true home at BMH on Curtain Road for a hard hitting once-a-month Friday night slot.
