Jana Zakarneh, a 16 year old Palestinian child, was shot dead by Israeli occupation forces with 7 gunshots as she went up onto her roof to search for her cat.Her cat can be seen roaming the blood stained roof looking for her owner. This girl was not a fighter, she was not an adult, she didn't have weapons, she was not a threat, but she was shot dead.

Isralei occupation forces shot dead 4 Palestinian teenagers within 24 hours. Armored vehicles, bulldozers, military helicopters and combat drones were reportedly deployed in the raid on Jenin refugee camp where two of the four teenagers were shot dead.

Mahmoud Sous was shot in the neck and Ahamd Daraghmah was shot in the head, according to the Palestinian health ministry. At least 11 more Palestinians were wounded, three of whom remain in critical condition.

It is unlikely I will meet anyone like him again.

Remember his name: Shaykh Adil.

He was imprisoned by the Chinese Communist
Party (CCP) for simply being a Muslim who
wanted to share Islam.

He was imprisoned a few times, the longest being
14 years.

He was tortured and beaten on a regular basis.

He was beaten for trying to pray.

He had to hide his prayers by praying with his
eyes.

For 90 days he was chained to other men in one
room with an icy floor. They were given thin
clothes. They were only allowed to urinate and
defecate once a day. They were not allowed water
or tissue to clean themselves.

For 28 days he was forced to stand everyday for
14 hours a day with cement blocks hanging
around his neck.

After his imprisonment, the authorities offered
him the job of an imām with financial incentives.
It was based on the condition he would submit to
the CCP's policies. He refused and was
subsequently beaten.

When I asked him why he rejected the role he said
worship is not just about praying 5 times a day.
He said if he accepted the role he would be a CCP
policeman with an imamah.

When I asked him how he coped with the torture in
prison, he replied by saying that the torture he
faced for years is nothing compared to the torture
of the CCP's forced assimilation of the Uyghur
Muslims.

The next time you take your religion for granted or
find prayer a burden, remember his name.

in this life and the best in the life to come. Ameen.

🪢 Up till the 10th of June 2006, there had been 41 su***de attempts in Guantanamo.

⛓ However on this day it all changed when 3 detainees were found hung in their cells and it was framed as su***de.

*These deaths were as a result of abuse and torture. The men were not even given a post-mortem.*

The circumstances of their deaths were highly suspicious and until this day former detainees who knew these men believe they were killed.

I haven't personally gotten over the shock of the cold blooded murder of Shireen Abu Akleh. Having watched her reporting so much, I feel like I knew her. Watching videos of her lifeless body being dragged by a helpless colleague, and her face practically removed by the sniper bullet was gruesome. I can't imagine the pain of her family and friends (some of whom I've spoken to). So I first want to extend condolences to them, as well as the families of other journalists gunned down by the occupation.

The fact that Israel, now deemed an apartheid state by practically every human rights organization in the world, continues to act with this level of impunity is disgusting. The worst part of it all is that it is being enabled by US funding and cover, and now normalizing Arab and Muslim entities that serve to silence the Palestinian voice.

This is the most aggressive phase of ethnic cleansing, settlement expansion, harassment of worshippers in Jerusalem, and silencing dissent we have seen. What other country can bomb media buildings to the ground, and still have those outlets (looking at you AP) cover for their crimes? What other country can shoot journalists in the face and have the United States merely issue calls for investigation by the responsible illegally occupying force all while continuing to pledge unconditional support to the apartheid regime?

So let me be clear, we cannot wait on morally bankrupt US politicians, Arab/Muslim regimes that have sold us out, or those who pretend to be allies against hate yet enable its most brutal form against us in Palestine to figure this out. They can't shoot us all in the face, and they certainly can't render the whole world blind to their war crimes. Imam Omar Suleiman

Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: About 140 detainees have been released since Sunday, from various Syrian regions, some of whom have spent at least 10 years in regime prisons notorious for killings and torture.

Activists on social media shared a list of 139 released prisoners, including people who were detained for years in the Sednaya prison, a prison in Damascus that was described by Amnesty International as a "human slaughterhouse."
