LOCAL | The Sangguniang Kabataan National President CJ Dalipe, with her colleagues from the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Tetuan, initiated a Plastic for Rice Program, a community effort to make Barangay Tetuan clean.

In coordination with the Zamboanga City's Office of the City Environment and Natural Resources (OCENR), and Zamboanga City Mayor John Dalipe, it was a collaborative effort to provide reward to those who are willing to help saving the Mother Earth.

Residents are called to collect one kilo of dry plastic waste in exchange for one kilo of rice, which shall launch this coming Saturday, 9 March 2024, at the Tetuan Barangay Hall, Ground Floor from 9:00AM to 12:00NN.
