Let your voice be heard 🗣️

The Cherokee County Planning and Zoning Department is seeking your input on the SR 20 corridor by launching a visual preference survey. The survey comes in response to the Georgia Department of Transportation’s SR 20 Corridor Widening Project.

The survey is for the east side of SR 20 from Canton Marketplace to the Forsyth County line and will run through Feb. 16.

The county is also planning in-person public input meetings during the process set for Jan. 18 and Feb. 7, from 6-7:30 p.m. The in-person meetings will be held in Victory Hall of the L.B. “Buzz” Ahrens Recreation Center, located at 7345 Cu***ng Hwy., Canton and are intended for citizens to drop in, take the survey and to ask questions regarding the survey or the overlay.

We need your input to develop alignment alternatives and early concepts for potential future trail connections.
