I should have posted this last week but doesn't matter. What matters is that we've reached 25,000 downloads! 😀
I want to thank all the guests (yes, all 61 of them) because this podcast wouldn't be what it is without them. And, of course, all the listeners who download this podcast.
THANK YOU ALL!

Happy Thanksgiving
I never celebrated Thanksgiving until I moved to Canada. And even then, it took me a few years to begin.
I found it hard to start a tradition so late in my life. Not that I'm old, but most of my traditions come from when I was a kid.
But lately, my wife and I have been celebrating it and this time we even cooked our own turkey! (I'll post some photos later)
Happy Thanksgiving to you all! And thank you for listening to the show.

My Post (1)
I hope to one day live in a world free of discrimination. Pride Month is a celebration of the history and struggle of the LGBTIQA+ community.
Not only during this month but for the whole year, we should fight for rights and against discrimination.
Toronto has a vibrant community, and every year (when there is no pandemic), we see a fantastic parade and the city coming together under one flag.
I hope next year things are back to normal and we can celebrate together.

My Post
I love technology, but... Come on!
I had an issue with my external hard drive, and I won't be able to release this week's episode as planned.
Fortunately, I have all the raw files, so it's only a matter of editing the episode again. So, I'll have it ready for tomorrow!
Thanks for understanding!

I'm super excited to share this! I'm usually the one interviewing people but, this time, it was my turn to be interviewed. 😀
I had the opportunity to talk to Kristin Espinar, founder of Activate Your IELTS, about my experience moving to Toronto and writing the IELTS exam on three different occasions.
If you want to listen to it, check out the Activate Your IELTS podcast! (link below)

Are Canadians cold and difficult to approach when trying to build friendships?
This is not the first time I have heard this comment. Many of the newcomers I've met, friends I've made, have had experiences similar to Oscar's. Everyone agrees that we are nice & polite, but some would say that over the years the distance remains.
How do you feel about that? Have you lived elsewhere and felt the same way? Have you experienced a "warmer" culture ?
