Today is Giving Tuesday. As many know I am now with CMHAGB. Canadian Mental Health Association Grey Bruce.
Sadly Facebook has suspended the CMHA account making it hard to get the word out on FB about some of the needs in our community.

The new 14th Street Transitional Supportive Housing Program in Owen Sound, will providing individuals currently without a place to live with a safe, secure place to call home. There are 12 units and it opens in early December.
And here is the need:
To make their transition as smooth as possible, we’re seeking donations of new household items such as double bed-in-a-bags, towels, and toiletries for their apartments. More details are included in the article below.

He was such a character. Some kids were terrified of him and some like me found him hilarious. In drafting class he sent kids to other teachers classrooms to get left handed pencils for us lefties. He also sent a kid to the office to pick up the paper stretcher. Obviously needed when you get to the edge of your paper! He also got me interested in photography. I've had some nice chats with him over the years when I saw him volunteering at the hospital.

After an incredible 31-year journey in the world of radio, including my college years, I've made the difficult decision to bid farewell.

Initially, I had contemplated penning down my extensive radio journey—acknowledging the names of those who offered me opportunities, the wonderful colleagues I've collaborated with, and the countless individuals I've crossed paths with. However, I realized that capturing such an extraordinary adventure would stretch across pages and pages, a testament to the experiences I've been fortunate to encounter. Radio has let me met and friend the greatest people of all time.
Throughout these three decades, I've been fortunate to accumulate a trove of highlights that I will never forget, and will most likely share with anyone that will listen.
In the spirit of new beginnings, I am thrilled to share that I've accepted a role with the Canadian Mental Health Association Grey Bruce.
As I embark on this new chapter, I carry with me the memories, the connections, and the invaluable lessons that radio has taught me. To each one of you who has been a part of my journey, thank you from the bottom of my heart and I hope you continue supporting me on this new adventure.
