The plant is native to Southern Mexico and Central America, but is grown world over. It is also known as strawberry pear and pitaya.

The two most common types have bright red skin with green scales that resemble a dragon - hence the name. The most common variety has white pulp with black seeds.

People primarily enjoy dragon fruit for its unique look and taste, but it also has some amazing health benefits.

Antigenic Determinant (Epitope) is a Site on Antigen Molecule

Antobodies do not generally recognize antigen as a whole molecule. Rather, they identify localized regions only. These localized regions are called antigenic determinant or epitope. Epitope is thus specific structural feature of an antigen that stimulates the production of antibodies. Epitope is antigenic determinant molecule that binds to an antibody or a T-cell receptor. Epitope determines which antibody can combine with it. Antibodies bind to the epitopes on the surface of an antigen. In the diagram below, specific antibodies of three types react with different epitopes on the same large antigen molecule.

**'Banach-Tarski Paradox' = MIND BLOWN ๐Ÿคฏ**

Did you know there is an unusual phenomenon in math known as the 'Banach-Tarski Paradox'? This paradox, based on the principles of Set Theory, states that it's theoretically possible to dissect a solid ball in 3D space into a finite number of non-overlapping pieces, then rearrange these pieces using only rotations and translations to form not one, but TWO solid balls identical to the original! This defies our physical intuition, affirming the abstract beauty and mystery of mathematics.

**Venus: a fireball planet**

Did you knoaw Venus, the second closest planet to the Sun, is the hottest planet in our solar system? Despite not being the closest to the Sun, it has an average surface temperature of 464ยฐC (867ยฐF). This intense heat is due to a runaway greenhouse effect caused by its dense, CO2-rich atmosphere, effectively trapping solar heat. Such high temperatures can melt lead!
