End of an era today with Jet2 sending their final 757 off to be parted out at St Athan. The aircraft did a taxi past the RVP - twice before a spritely departure off 23R.

A different trio for todays . This time it’s European built airliners. First we have the 1954 incorporation of Air Inter who operated the less than successful Dassault Mercure. In 2003 Etihad was added to the airlines of the Middle East having commenced services with the Airbus A330-200. Last of the trio is the Saab 340 in the hands of TUS who operated their first flight in 2015.

A lovely little positive trio of 737s for you on Not sure if Stelios really expected the size of the current airline today in 1995 as it was the founding of easyJet We fly on over to Asia for the last two as in 2003 Bangladeshi airline Regent Airways was also founded. 2010 was also the founding year for the last of our trio and I am glad I am writing this not saying it as it’s the Indonesian outfit Sriwijaya Air.
